Mumbai Feb 18 PTI The countrys foreign exchange reserves declined by USD 1763 billion to USD 63019 billion in the week ended on February 11 the RBI data showed In the previous week ended February 4 the reserves had risen by USD 2198 billion to USD 631953 billion It touched a lifetime high of USD 642453 billion in the week ended on September 3 2021 During the reporting week the fall in the reserves was on account of a decline in the foreign currency assets FCA a major component of the overall reserves FCA dipped by USD 2764 billion to USD 565565 billion in the week ended February 11 Expressed in dollar terms the foreign currency assets include the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US units like the euro pound and yen held in the foreign exchange reserves Gold reserves increased by USD 952 million to USD 40235 billion in the reporting week the data showed The special drawing rights SDRs with the International Monetary Fund IMF increased by USD 65 million to USD 19173 billion RBI said The countrys reserve position with the IMF decreased by USD16 million to USD 5217 billion in the reporting week the data showed PTI HV MR

Mumbai Jan 21 PTI The countrys foreign exchange reserves grew by USD 2229 billion to USD 634965 billion in the week ended January 14 RBI data showed In the previous week ended January 7 the reserves had declined by USD 878 million to USD 632736 billion It touched a lifetime high of USD 642453 billion in the week ended September 3 2021 During the reporting week ended January 14 the jump in the foreign exchange reserves was on account of a rise in the foreign currency assets FCAs a major component of the overall reserves and the gold reserves Reserve Bank of Indias RBI weekly data released on Friday showed FCA increased by USD 1345 billion to USD 570737 billion in the reporting week the data showed Expressed in dollar terms the foreign currency assets include the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US units like the euro pound and yen held in the foreign exchange reserves Gold reserves rose by USD 726 million to USD 3977 billion in the reporting week the data showed The special drawing rights SDRs with the International Monetary Fund IMF increased by USD 123 million to USD 1922 billion the RBI said The countrys reserve position with the IMF also rose by USD 36 million to USD 5238 billion in the reporting week the data showed PTI HV MKJ
