Abu Dhabi [UAE], March 11 (ANI): The final stage of the rally, at just over 200 kilometres long, was a sprint finish with all the leading riders hoping to improve upon their positions. In the end, Ricky Brabec was able to make it onto the final podium in runner-up spot while Pablo Quintanilla finished third overall. Honda Team maintain and extend their lead in the world championship.
Abu Dhabi [UAE], March 10 (ANI): With second place overall in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge general standings, Pablo Quintanilla is in with a chance of sealing the race victory in tomorrow's final stage. Pablo Quintanilla finished in third place today after a fine stage, showing good pace throughout the 243-kilometre special. The Chilean moved up to the second spot in the general rankings, just twenty-three seconds behind leader Sunderland.
Abu Dhabi [UAE], March 8 (ANI): Honda Team riders capitalised on a scorching, dune-filled marathon stage at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge: the three Honda CRF450 Rally riders Brabec, Cornejo and Quintanilla all currently hold places in the rally top five.
Jeddah [Saudi Arabia], January 15 (ANI): Honda Team rider Pablo Quintanilla won the final 2022 Dakar Rally stage to grab a second overall place in the race just three-and-a-half minutes shy of the winner.
Al Dawadimi [Saudi Arabia], January 10 (ANI): The break in Riyadh appears to have benefited the Honda Team riders as can be seen in the seventh stage results with riders bound for the Saudi Arabian capital and the new Al Dawadimi bivouac. Chilean Jose Ignacio Cornejo won the stage with Barreda the third fastest.
Riyadh [Saudi Arabia], January 8 (ANI): Today's stage was cut short due to poor conditions. Race organisers called a halt to the special stage with 101 kilometres completed, a quarter of the scheduled total.
Riyadh [Saudi Arabia], January 6 (ANI): Joan Barreda pushed his Honda CRF450 RALLY to the limit over the 465 Kms to finish with the day's top time at the finish in Riyadh. Chilean rider Pablo Quintanilla put the icing on the cake for Honda Team by clinching the runner-up spot.
