New Delhi Mar 26 PTI The Delhi government on Saturday set aside Rs 3063 crore for financial assistance schemes for the welfare of senior citizens women the disabled and the disadvantaged sectionsA monthly pension of Rs 2000-Rs 2500 is being provided to 85 lakh beneficiaries under various financial assistance schemes Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said while presenting the budget in the AssemblyHe said 13136 students are getting the benefit of coaching for competitive examinations under Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas YojanaRs 160 crore has been proposed in the budget for the financial year 2022-23 under this scheme which will increase the number of beneficiaries this fiscal he saidSisodia said Delhi was the first state to provide immediate assistance of Rs 50000 each to families of people who died due to COVID-19So far 27322 families have been provided immediate assistance under this scheme If a family has lost the support of its earning member due to COVID-19 a monthly pension of Rs 2500 is also being given by the Delhi government to its dependents he saidThe government is bearing the cost of education and treatment of the children orphaned due to COVID-19 and is also giving a pension of Rs 2500 per month to each child PTI GVS NSD NSD

Kolkata Nov 20 PTI B K Birla Group flagship Kesoram Industries board on Saturday approved to raise fund up to Rs 2500 crore to lower the cost of borrowing to replace high-cost NCDs and OCDs The company had raised about Rs 1900 crore Non-Convertible Debentures NCDs and Optionally Convertible Debentures OCDs in the past for bank debt restructuring at nearly 20 per cent interest rate through a private placement The company informed that it can raise the fresh funds by way of equity bond foreign currency floats or other instruments The company recently had a rights issue of Rs 400 crore With Rs 200 crore raised as part payment from the rights offer the working capital issue has been largely resolved officials said The remaining Rs 200 crore will be collected later they said The company is expected to be Rs 550-600 crore EBITA Earnings Before Interest Taxes and Amortisation company in FY22 And this will rerate the company in terms of borrowing capabilities the officials said PTI BSM MM MM

Jaipur Oct 18 PTI The Rajasthan government has set a target to provide crop loans of Rs 18500 crore in the financial year 2021-22 to the farmers associated with cooperative banks In a statement the states Cooperative Minister Udailal Anjana on Monday said the target of disbursement of crop loans has been increased from Rs 16000 crore to Rs 18500 crore in the year 2021-22 This is to provide more short-term crop loans to the farmers associated with cooperative banks Anjana added In this way farmers will get more crop loans of Rs 2500 crore in the current financial year The minister said that in the order of the budget announcement of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot 240 lakh new farmers have done registration and applied online portal in the current year Out of this 125 lakh new farmers have been benefited from crop loans at a zero interest rate scheme In the kharif season 2021 crop loans amounting to Rs 935987 crore have been disbursed to about 2568 lakh farmers by cooperative banks PTI AG HRS hrs
