Dispur (Assam) [India], November 2 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance in Assam swept bypolls on all the five seats on Tuesday with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma leading the charge, as the face of the party, for the first time in North-Eastern state.
Guwahati (Assam) [India], November 2 (ANI): The BJP and its ally United People's Party, Liberal swept the Assam bypolls as the former bagged Thowra, Bhabanipur and Mariani Assembly seats while the latter won Gossaigaon and Tumulpur Assembly seats.
