Faridabad Apr 23 PTI Five men and a woman have been booked for alleged rape of a security company employee police here said on Saturday The complainant accused her colleague of tricking her and getting raped by five men in 2020 they said According to police the woman allegedly kept silent all these years as the accused had shot a video of her and blackmailed her with it She took me to a hotel saying she had some work and made me sit in a room She then offered me cold drink which made me dizzy and then those men came and raped me the woman said in her complaint police said When I came to senses and threatened to call police they told me they had made a video of mine They used the video to harass me for the next two years she said The six accused were identified as Virendra Dahiya Hari Singh Jai Prakash Sukhbir and Deviram and were booked under various sections of the IPC Police spokesperson Sube Singh said that they are verifying the facts and action will be taken as per the law PTI COR VN VN
Faridabad Apr 22 PTI The body of a 29-year-old lawyer who went missing a couple of days ago was recovered from a sewer disposal tank in Sainik Colony here on Friday Police identified the deceased as Himanshu a native of Begusarai in Bihar He had been living with his maternal uncle a Supreme Court lawyer in Indraprastha Colony-II for long and had been practising law with him Police said they are yet to ascertain whether Himanshu died due to an accident or was murdered One of Himanshus relatives told the police that he had gone out for a walk on Tuesday evening but did not return His uncle searched for him but did not inform the police On Friday afternoon locals happened to see his body in the open sewer disposal tank and they called the police who ascertained his identity based on the documents recovered from his pockets We are investigating from all angles and the picture will be clear soon police spokesperson Sube Singh said He said the body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem PTI CORR CJ CJ
