A study has looked deep inside the human brain to find out how memory is stored. Researchers from Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Epilepsy Center collaborated to examine the electrical activity in the brains of five patients at the centre in response to sounds that were administered by the research team as a part of a learning exercise.
