Washington [US], October 15 (ANI): Astronomers have discovered the heaviest element ever found in an exoplanet atmosphere barium. They were surprised to discover barium at high altitudes in the atmospheres of the ultra-hot gas giants WASP-76 b and WASP-121 b two exoplanets, planets which orbit stars outside our Solar System. This unexpected discovery raises questions about what these exotic atmospheres may be like.
Lisbon [Portugal], October 13 (ANI): The heaviest element ever identified in an exoplanet atmosphere, barium, has been found by astronomers using the Very Large Telescope (VLT) of the European Southern Observatory. They were shocked to find barium in the atmospheres of the exoplanets WASP-76 b and WASP-121 b, two extremely hot gas giants that orbit stars outside of our solar system.
Pecs [Hungary], February 24 (ANI): The world is filled with living organisms of every kind and form. While some are very beautiful and adorable for the human gaze, others unknowingly unnerve people. Two of such creatures are spiders and snakes. Intense fear of spiders is called arachnophobia while an extreme fear of snakes is called ophidiophobia. A recent study has made an interesting revelation for reducing the fear of these creatures in people.
