Ministry of Home Affairs informed that it will opt for the latest technologies in the next census. The technologies that will be used in the next census include digital data collection, Census Management and Monitoring System, and a Code Directory Geospatial technology.
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], December 30 (ANI): Congress exhibited a stupendous performance winning a large number of seats in 58 Urban Local Bodies elections. It has won 500 Wards, against 435 won by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). JD(S) victory was limited to 45 Wards only, said a statement by Randeep S Surjewala, General Secretary, All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Thursday.
