So now, as per reports, Virat Kohli is all set to miss the ODI series against the same opponent. The Indian Test skipper would do that to celebrate his daughter Vamika’s birthday. India will play three-match ODI series against South Africa. Vamika was born on January 11, 2021. As per reports, India’s Test skipper will be away for a holiday with his family after the conclusion of the last Test match. The last game of the Test series will happen on January 11 2022 and will conclude on January 15, 2022. Post which Virat Kohli could remain unavailable. Now, this has raised a lot of eyebrows as many feel that it has something to do with a shift in captaincy. Not very long ago, the BCCI sacked Virat Kohli from 50-over captaincy. As of now, the fans too are recovering from the way things have gone with the BCCI.

In fact, in just a single tweet the responsibility was taken over from Virat Kohli and handed over to Rohit Sharma. On the other hand, reports claimed that Rohit Sharma will be recovering from his hamstring injury. Rohit Sharma is down with a hamstring injury and the official account of BCCI informed about the same on social media.
