“In his ID speech in 2017, Modi made the following promises to be achieved by 15th August of 2022: ~ 2 crore new jobs every year, ~ housing for all, -doubling farmers’ income, ~bullet train. Mr. Subramanian Swamy said.

BJP leader on Sunday, took on Twitter, to take a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The former BJP MP listed out the promises made by the Prime Minister in his 2017 Independence Day speech. Mr. Subramanian  Swamy further questioned, what will he promise this year.

“In his ID speech in 2017, Modi made the following promises to be achieved by 15th August of 2022: ~ 2 crore new jobs every year, ~ housing for all, -doubling farmers’ income, ~bullet train. Mr. Subramanian Swamy said.

The President of Virat Hindustan Sangam, further said, “Has it happened? What is he going to promise this 15th August speech this year?”

India will be celebrating its 76th Independence Day on Monday.  President Droupadi Murmu, the first tribal and second woman to occupy India’s highest constitutional post, will address the nation in the evening on August 14.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort on Monday, i.e. August 15. Starting at 7:30 am, the national flag will be hoisted at the Red Fort which will be followed by the Prime Minister’s address.
