Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief JP Nadda and other top leaders of the ruling party have gathered at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi for a national executive meeting.

The meeting, which is generally held every three months, is being held for the first time following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The party is expected to hold extensive discussions on the election strategy for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur – the five states that go to polls early next year.
