Mumbai: Hindus have been urged by Hindutva supremacist seer Yati Narsinghanand to abstain from the central government’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, which is being held to commemorate the nation’s 75th Independence Day. The hate speech accuser claimed that the campaign intended to assist a business run by a Muslim in a video that went popular on social media on Friday.
He asserted that a company in West Bengal operated by Salauddin has got the campaign’s largest order for flags. “There is a huge plot against Hindus. Stop donating money to Muslims in the guise of this initiative if you [Hindus] wish to live.

The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, which the prime minister of India began last month, aims to get people to fly the tricolour from August 13 to August 15 in their houses.
Narsinghanand claimed in the film that while Hindu politicians advocate an economic boycott of Muslims, once in office they award them government contracts. “Every Hindu should have a saffron-coloured flag on his house,” he said.
Additionally, Narsinghanand asked Hindus to avoid supporting the national flag because it had harmed them.
The seer was taken into custody on January 15 after urging the annihilation of Muslims at a religious gathering in Haridwar. On February 7, he was granted bail in the case, with the restriction that he not take part in any event “which tries to create disparities amongst communities”.
On April 17, he made another contentious statement at a religious gathering in the Una area of Himachal Pradesh. To prevent India from converting to Islam, he urged Hindus to bear more children.
The seer still publishes offensive remarks regarding Muslims in his video broadcasts.
Narsinghanand had previously stated that he would go to the Jama Masjid on June 17 with the Quran and books on Islamic history to teach Muslims what they say about Prophet Muhammad. This was stated back on June 8. He was then requested to cancel his trip by the Ghaziabad district government.
