Agent Raghav goes undercover as an inmate of Karnal Prison to investigate the death of Baba Dharmanand. Baba was poisoned to death but strangely his disciple Tuliram, who tasted the food before him, is alive. Suspects are many, including the jailor. After a series of events Raghav finds the killer, the cook Keshav Banwari, who is a convicted businessman and who was Baba’s business partner. He mixed poison not directly in the food, but in a coat of Ghee inside the cover of the lunch box.
