83, the cricket biopic film revolving around the life of Indian cricketer Kapil Dev got a theatrical release on December 24. Since then the film is receiving a good response from the audience but it is progressing slowly at the box-office. Even after 4 days of the release of the film, it is not growing that much as compared to other films that were released recently.
Coming towards the box-office collection of day 4 of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer 83, the film successfully collected Rs 7.29 crore. After adding this amount to the grand total of the box-office collection of the movie, it makes a total score of Rs 54.29 crore.
Earlier, on day 3 i.e., on December 26, the film collected Rs 17.41 crore. It was Sunday, so many people must have approached theatres to watch the film on the large screens. We have to say that even if the film has gone through its first weekend, it did not make it up to the mark. Generally, any film takes the opportunity to attract an audience to the silver screens during the weekends.
As people want a change from their daily life and look forward to spicing up the day, they go ahead to watch the films. So, the same must have happened with Kabir Khan directorial 83. Slow growth can be seen in the box-office collection of the film 83. The film has very little time left in hand to collect more as there are several other films that are rushing to take a theatrical release.
