As a continuation and a big surprise for us, last week was the final part of the Zee Kutumba Awards 2019. While most of the categories were technical we got to see more fun and entertainment from the Female villains on the channel along with some special categories too. 

So without further ado let’s check out all Maavas that were nominated for the award: Keshava Murthy from Subbalakshmi Samsara, Narasimha from Bramhagantu and Vishnu from Naagini. The winner was T.S Nagabharana sir who plays the role of Narasimha on Bramhagantu.

The nominees for the Best Supporting Role – Female are, Chitra from Yaare Nee Mohini, Ningi from Kamali, Padma from Gattimela, Savitri from Paaru, Suhasini from Gattimela and Urmila from Naagini. The award went to Ningi, who in my opinion, deserved this award. Agree or disagree?

The nominees for the Best Supporting Role – Male was announced in this order – Anand from Radha Kalyana, Arun Prasad from Subbalakshmi Samsara, Shanmugha from Yaare Nee Mohini, Sarthak from Gattimela and Subbu from Bramhagantu. The actors Nagarjun and Karthik, who play roles of Arun Prasad and Shanmugha, respectively won the award.

The lead actress of Londonalli Lambodara, Shruti Prakash, performed for her fans on stage and her performance was stunning. She plays the role of Rashmi in the film, which marks her debut in Sandalwood.

To give this award, Pailwaan Krishna Sir aka Kitappa was called on stage. Raghavendra from the show Paaru won the honour.

Kitappa sir presented the next award too, which was for the Best Director of the channel and the winner was Koramangala Anil for the show Gattimela.

Before you think that all the female villains performed together, think again. Instead, two female villains from different shows were paired up to perform three different acts. Starting with the pair of Anika from Kamali and Anushka from Paaru.

Shanaya from Subbalakshmi Samsara and Urmila from Naagini were the next two villains on stage. The theme of their dance was based on the legend of snakes and the duo performed on a Western song.

Using the instrumental versions of the film KGF: Chapter 1, Sarika from Gattimela and Nakshatra from Radha Kalyana gave a crackling performance on stage.

The talented actor Rishi was called up on stage to give away the award for the Best Screenplay Writer of the Zee Kutumba and there were not one but two winners. The first was Chetana Vasista for the serial Kamali. Scroll for the next winner…

Actor Rishi gave away the other award to Ramesh Indira for the show Bramhagantu, but unfortunately, he wasn’t present to collect it.

The famous screenwriter Simple Sunil was called on stage to give away this award. And the winner was Karthik Bhat for the hit show Gattimela.

The lead couple of the Sandalwood film Kiss, Viraat and Sree Leela came on stage to do the honours. The winner was announced as Roopkanth for the show Yaare Nee Mohini.

The melodious singer Rajesh Krishnan, who is also one of the judges on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, arrived on stage to present the Style Icon – Male award to Shri Krishna aka Amith Kashyap from the show Radha Kalyana.

The gorgeous actress Aishani Shetty came on stage to give the award for the Style Icon – Female to Anika Mahajan aka Rachana Smith from the show Kamali, but the winner wasn’t present to collect the trophy.

The nominees for the Best Jodi on Zee Kannada were as follows, Amrutha-Arjun from Naagini, Amulya-Vedanth from Gattimela, Geetha-Lucky from Bramhagantu, Rishi-Kamali from Kamali, Belli-Muthu from Yaare Nee Mohini, Paaru-Aditya from Paaru, Radha-Shri Krishna from Radha Kalyana and Subbalakshmi-Gurumurthy from Subbalakshmi Samsara. To present the awards, Pavan Wadeyar and his wife Apeksha Wadeyar were called on stage. The winners were Aditya and Paaru from the show Paaru.

The nominees for the Favourite Jodi on Zee Kannada were as follows, Amrutha-Arjun from Naagini, Amulya-Vedanth from Gattimela, Geetha-Lucky from Bramhagantu, Rishi-Kamali from Kamali, Belli-Muthu from Yaare Nee Mohini, Paaru-Aditya from Paaru, Radha-Shri Krishna from Radha Kalyana and Subbalakshmi-Gurumurthy from Subbalakshmi Samsara. To present the awards, Beautiful Manasugalu actor Sathish Ninasam was invited on stage. The winners were Vedanth and Amulya from the show Gattimela.
