Here Are The Reasons Why Double Engine Is An All Time Favourite!

Need some comedy and love in your life? Well, this is the perfect rom-com for you then! Double Engine, starring Chikkanna, Ashok, Prabhu and Suman Ranganathan, is a comedy film, written, directed by Chandra Mohan.

This is a story of three friends — Ashok, Sunila and Krishna — who come all the way to Bengaluru to make some quick money. Their journey isn’t as simple as it seems. On their way, they meet Suma, a widow, who joins the trio in their quest of quick money. While you might think this film to be all comedy, what makes this one really special is the fact that it is a reflection of society and a struggle that people face to earn a living. It also shows their inability to make a living which encourages them to take a wrong path in order to fulfil their needs. While it does not justify taking a wrong path, it makes the audience empathise with the characters.

Apart from this, if you’re looking for some tunes to groove to then musician Veer Samarth, who was born into a family of musicians at Bangalore, has scored the soundtrack and score for the film while the songs have been penned by Manju Mandavya and Naveen Kumar. Some of the tracks–Amase Divsa sung by Vijay Prakash and Nam Hudugiyu by Sachin Basruru are a must-listen.

In terms of technical aspects, the film has not only been written exceedingly well by Chandra Mohan but has been brought to life by cinematographer Mohan in the most accurate form for us to understand.
