He even makes the mistake of commenting on the character of Zoya’s mother in the film. This starts developing a rift between the duo. However, Zoya makes her way back to Deep and forgives him when she realises they both belong together.

Pooja and Blackie

On the other hand, the mass-masala film Khaali Peeli narrates the story of Pooja and Blackie, the childhood sweethearts. Yusuf Chikna, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, spiced up their love story and separated them to make his own profits. The duo meets years later and learns about each other and about Yusuf’s plot of keeping them separated. With a lot of action and banter, Pooja and Blackie finally reunite.

I feel Pragya and Abhi resemble both the couple. Like how Pooja and Blakie were not together for years just like Pragya and Abhi. And, on the other hand, though Aliya has created a number of misunderstanding between them, the Kumkum Bhagya couple has always got each other’s back just like out urban couple Zoya and Deep. The understanding between the duo reflects Zoya and Deep while cute fights over various things remind me of Pooja and Blackie.
