Maza Hoshil Na’s Gautami Deshpande has been keeping the Diwali spirits high on reel and real-life too. In her reel life, the actress helped the Brahme’s in making Diwali sweets from scratch. She not only learnt a number of things but also managed to nail the task given to her. In real life, Gautami Deshpande introduced her real-life Brahme on social media. Gautami Deshpande’s father was seen doing Diwali preparations at home. He put up the Diwali lantern and also untangled the fairy lights to put them on the wall. Gautami shared a video of her father going about with the preparations and wrote, “Amchya Kadche Brahme”. The on-screen Brahme’s are Aditya’s uncles, Bandhu Mama, Bhai Mama, Dada Mama and Pintya Mama.
Gautami Deshpande hails from a family of artists. Her elder sister Mrunmayee Deshpande has been a part of the Marathi film industry for several years. Mrunmayee Deshpande started her career in the Marathi entertainment industry with TV shows and soon started appearing in movies. Some of Mrunmayee’s popular Marathi movies include Fatteshikast, Bogda, Farzand, Katyar Kaljat Ghusali and Mamachya Gavala Jaaoo Yaa. Gautami Deshpande who made her debut in the industry with the show Maza Hoshil Na is yet to make an appearance with her sister Mrunmayee.

Earlier, Gautami Deshpande had shared the screen space with her grandfather Arvind Kane. The veteran theatre actor has been associated with the entertainment and theatre industry for several years. He was seen as the old man at the orphanage who tells Aditya and Sai about Aditya’s late mother. Gautami Deshpande shared about this on her Instagram account. She wrote that her grandfather had been associated with the industry for several years and it was her dream to work with him. She considers herself lucky to share the screen space with her grandfather
