Shoot-Out at Alair: Nandini Rai’s presence as Nafisa is an intriguing catalyst to the story, here’s how

While the cat-and-mouse games between the cops and Akhtar are on, one of the most important aspects of driving the story in Shoot-Out At Alair forward parallelly is undoubtedly Nafisa, beautifully played by Nandini Rai. Nafisa is your next-door girl, but she’s also much more than that. Nafisa’s character even humanises Akhtar (played by Teja Kakumanu) at some point despite him being a deadly criminal.

Nandini Rai as Nafisa is definitely a breath of fresh air and represents all these layers nonchalantly. It is only natural that we think of Akhtar as someone with no tender traits to his character whatsoever. However, Nafisa will tell you otherwise, as she gently uncovers the soft side of him. Apart from this, there is a huge role that she plays in the development of Akhtar’s character, because of who she is revealed to be, later. While being married, she lures Akhtar but has deceptive motives. The sudden change in her character is too encaptivating. Nandini Rai will convince you in one moment that she is an innocent and unfiltered girl who expresses what she feels like.
