Salma Hayek on her daughter Valentina’s 14th birthday pens a soulful Thank you note

On her daughter Valentina’s birthday, Salma Hayek shared a soulful note on her Instagram page. ‘Blessed be the day you came into my life,’ she had mentioned. The note both in English and Spanish ends with a Thank you note ‘for being her’. The picture taken in the background of dawn is so beautiful where the mother and daughter are looking into each other.

Salma Hayek’s birthday wish on Instagram earned 330,577 likes with fans and celebrities wishing Valentina who just turned 14. The wishes poured in English as well as Spanish. Those who wished Valentina include supermodels Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. Celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez and Nigerian actress Oghenekaro Itene also wished Salma Hayek’s daughter. Algerian actress Sofia Boutella also posted a heart.

The Desperado actress, Salma Hayek, married French businessman Francois Henri Pinault on Valentine’s Day in 2009. She confirmed her pregnancy and engagement with Pinault in 2007. Their daughter Valentina Paloma was born in 2007. Salma is also the step-mother of Augustin ‘Augie’ James, son of Pinault and supermodel Linda Evangelista. The Mexican and Hollywood star turned 55 on Sept.2 this year.

Salma Hayek was last seen as Sonia Kincaid in the comedy action movie Hitman’s wife’s Bodyguard, a sequel of the 2017 movie The Hitman’s Bodyguard. She had also acted with Owen Wilson in Bliss which was released this year. She played the role of a homeless woman Isabel who befriends the protagonist Greg Wittle played by Owen Wilson.

Salma Hayek will be next seen in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) superhero film ‘Eternals’. The movie based on Marvel Comics is the 26th film in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eternals’ cast is packed with star crew Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjilani, and Angelina Jolie.

Salma Hayek is portraying the role of Ajak, the spiritual leader of the Eternals. Salma Hayek started her career in the Mexican film industry in 1989. She later moved to Hollywood and rose to prominence with her films like Desperado, Wild Wild West and Dogma. But she attained critical acclaim in the movie Frida released in 2002. The movie is about the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and Salma played the role of Frida.
