It may not be Valentine’s week but love is in the air on our favourite Marathi shows. Sai and Aditya from Majha Hoshil Na will finally go on their honeymoon soon. On the other hand, romance is blossoming between Omkar and Sweetu from Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla. It is heartwarming to watch these love stories and we can’t help but reminisce over how they all started – from the proposal. 1. Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

Omkar had planned the most romantic proposal for his ladylove Sweetu. He decorated a place to make it look like a ballroom and surprised Sweetu with a stunning gown. He asked her to show up at the venue wearing that dress. When she arrived,  soft music was playing in the background and they slowly danced holding each other. Finally, he got down on one knee and professed his love.

2. Karbhari Laybhari

Rajvir’s was the most quintessential filmy proposal, laden with romantic lights, fireworks, flowers and music. He got Priyanka to light up diyas and placed them in a lake. The lit diyas formed ‘I love you’ on the lake as Rajvir got down on one knee to ask, “will you marry me?”. Later, fireworks went off in the sky followed by lanterns leaving Priyanka stunned.

3. Majha Hoshil Na

Just when Sai was about to give up on her life, Aditya snuck into her room and took her by surprise. He was very straightforward and told her how much he loves her. He even presented her with his aaji’s bangles to show how serious he is about marrying her.

4. Aggabai Sasubai

Abhijit is known for his grand romantic gestures however his proposal was very simple yet sweet. He did not beat around the bush a lot and came clean about his feelings for Asawari. He confidently told her that he loves her and that he wishes to marry her. The way he smoothly popped the question really won our hearts.

5. Tula Pahate Re

Of course, we had to save the best for the last – Vikrant’s proposal to Isha. He took her on a helicopter ride and found the most unique way to ask the big question. He arranged flowers to form ‘Isha, will you marry me?’  on a lunch green ground. Isha read the question sitting in a helicopter right above it and was taken aback by his grand gesture.
