Abhishek Bachchan Opens Up About Their Financial Crisis When His Father Was In Debt; Says They Didn’t Even Had Food On The Table

Abhishek Bachchan has always wowed his fans with his outstanding acting abilities, as the actor has represented many roles and presented them fluently, and now the actor has made his fans go crazy with his latest film Bob Biswas. In a recent interview, the actor discussed the financial crisis that his family faced in the 1990s when his father Amitabh Bachchan suffered a huge loss in business. He claims that his father Amitabh Bachchan was in crores of debt at the time, and that is when he decided to drop out of college in the United States and return to his family in India.

In an interview, Abhishek Bachchan explained how difficult the situation had gotten, saying that his father, Amitabh Bachchan, had to borrow money from his workers to put food on the table. He also shared Amitabh Bachchan’s advice to him when he informed him he wanted to be an actor.

Abhishek Bachchan went on to say that he was restless, he couldn’t sit back in Boston while his father, Amitabh Bachchan, isn’t even sure whether they’ll have food. That’s how horrible things were. Abhishek just felt morally obligated to be with him, that he called him and said that he wants to drop out of college and return home to be with his father and family, that he wanted to make his father feel that his son is there for him.

He also stated that his father was moved and emotional. They had previously discussed Abhishek Bachchan’s desire to become an actor. Amitabh Bachchan expressed his gratitude and invited him to return. He also encouraged him to study the language because Shakespeare does not work here
