Actor Nagarjuna helps Bigg Boss Gangavva with a roof over her head

It is a home sweet home finally for popular YouTuber Milkuri Gangavva.

A wish before Nagarjuna Akkineni during her appearance in Bigg Boss to own a house set in motion a chain of events that has seen Gangavva, who sweated it out as farm labour before making it big with YouTube, get the keys to her abode. The YouTuber, known for her diction of Telangana dialect of Telugu, came into prominence with ‘My Village Show’ and owning a house was her dream. She figured in the Telugu reality TV show Bigg Boss 4 as one of the 19 contestants.

With Nagarjuna Akkineni taking earnest note of her request, it was only a matter of time before Gangavva had a roof over her head. The Tollywood superstar gave Gangavva the need financial boost and the YouTuber managed the rest to set up her dwelling.

Incidentally, Gangavva was not too keen to be part of Bigg Boss nor was she comfortable on its sets. However, with Nagarjuna Akkineni taking note of her request was itself the big win for her.

November 9 was the day that Gangavva’s dream turned into reality with the house warming ceremony. If the construction of the house started after the Bigg Boss show had ended, Gangavva took to Instagram to share pics of her new dwelling and did not fail to wish Nagarjuna for his timely financial assistance.

Hailing from Lambadipalli village in the Jagityal district of Telangana state, Gangavva reportedly received Rs 7 lakh from the actor. Gangavva used the Rs 11 lakh that she received for her appearance in Bigg Boss and took a loan of Rs 3 lakh to complete her house. Akhil Sarthak, runner-up of Bigg Boss last year, Savitri aka Shiva Jyothy, Sunke Ravi Shankar, MLA representing Choppadandi constituency and other local dignitaries were on hand to share in Gangavva’s happiness.

The presence of Akhil Sarthak created quite a stir at Gangavva’s village with both Akhil’s and her followers giving it a big thumbs up. It was a big moment for the villagers as well for they participated in the house warming ceremony as though it was their house affair.
