Aggabai Soonbai: Asawari’s Take On Upbringing Children Changes, Promos Reveal Her New Side

Zee Marathi’s new show and Agga Bai Sasubai’s sequel, Aggabai Soonbai, is all set to start soon. The show has taken a few years leap and things seem to have changed drastically in the Kulkarni household. Asawari has now become a successful businesswoman, whose take on relationship and upbringing children seems to have changed entirely. Read ahead to find out more details.

The latest promos of Aggabai Soonbai have revealed a totally new side of Asawari. She is not the same easy-going person anymore. Asawari, who would over-pamper her son Soham, does not believe in that parenting style anymore. She has become stricter and does not encourage over pampering of kids.

In the video, Asawari can be seen going through some work when Abhijit comes and hands over her lunch box. Asawari does not pay him attention, and continues to browse through her file. Meanwhile, Shubhra can be seen trying to feed her son, despite his protests. This gets Asawari attention as she snaps her head up and asks Shubhra not to spoil him so much. Asawari warns her and says that if she continues to spoil her son a lot, he might turn into another ‘babdya’.

Babdya was the sweet nickname given by Asawari to her son. Asawari would over pamper him and serve him everything on a platter. Later, her son turned out to be quite a big disappointment and became the reason for her misery. This created a rift between the mother and son, and broke apart their family. Even though they eventually reconciled, it seems as if Asawari never returned to being her old-self.

It is quite possible that she blames her parenting style for the way her son turned out. She clearly does not want her grandson to turn out the same way, which is why she’s stopping Shubhra from doing what she did. Will this create a difference of opinion between Asawari and Shubhra?
