Ajay Devgn Opts Out Of Yash Raj Films’ Superhero Movie?

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has an extremely busy schedule with a number of films on his plate. According to recent reports, the actor has decided to opt out of a film produced by Yash Raj Films. The actor will also be making his Telugu debut this year.

Ajay Devgn decides to opt-out of a Yash Raj banner film

Ajay Devgn is currently staying indoors due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the actor has been prepping for a number of his upcoming films. He was to star as a villain in Yash Raj Films’ superhero movie. The film would also mark the debut of Ananya Pandey’s cousin Ahaan Pandey. However, due to his extremely tight schedule, he found it difficult to make time for the film. However, Aditya Chopra has been trying his best to convince him for the role as according to him, the role suits him the best.

The actor will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Sooryavanshi making a cameo. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role alongside Katrina Kaif. Akay will be seen playing the role of DCP Bajirao Singham reprising his role from Singham. The actor will also be seen making his Telugu debut in RRR. The film is an action drama period film that features actors like  N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan while Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody play pivotal roles along with Ajay.

The actor will also be seen playing the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the film Maidan. It is a biographical sports film that also stars actors like Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh. The film is scheduled to release on  15 October 2021. Other upcoming projects of his include names like Thank God and Mayday which are currently under production. The actor was last seen in Tanhaji playing the lead role of Tanhaji Malusare. He was also the producer of the film.
