According to the reports of a leading daily, Pooja was dating actor Ranvir Shorey a few years back. It happened at the time when they were shooting for the film Jism. At that time, they came close to each other and ended up living in a live-in relationship. Just like any Bollywood film, the family of the actress was not in favour of their relationship. Until this, things were going well between the couple.

But the twist in the tale comes when Ranvir Shorey raised his hands on the actress. There happened a fierce fight between the two which resulted in domestic violence. Pooja Bhatt was badly injured in the incident that took place between her and Ranvir. The fights used to happen mostly because of his drinking habits. The domestic violence resulted in the surgery of the actress. Pooja later filed a complaint against him in the Police.

Due to this unfortunate incident, the actress broke the engagement with him and later got married to Manish Makhija but ended up with a divorce. Years after, he broke the silence and published an article attacking the Bhatt’s. In it, Ranvir had written that such articles are part of a defamatory and negative PR campaign. Further, he also wrote that no media would have troubled to look at old police and media records for a fact check, in which it was written that he was abused in that relationship.

In the same article, speaking of her then-husband Manish Makhija, Ranvir said that the other person seen in the photo used to be his finest friend till that incident happened. After that, he changed his side and married Pooja Bhatt. In the end, he wrote all these relationships are manipulative.
