Amrita Rao Remembers The Legendary MF Hussain’s Special Gift To Her On His 106th Birth-Anniversary

AmritaRao remembers acclaimed painter MF Hussain today. It’s his 106th birth anniversary, and what better day to remember him. What better way to think of him than by talking about a special gift that was given by him to her. Amrita revealed the gift and people on social media ate dying of envy.

MF Hussain had gifted Amrita, his paintbrush. That was no ordinary paintbrush. It was something that Hussain had specially imported from Par. He used it in hi styles as his signature walking stick. Talking about the same Amrita said that she recalled having been presented that and Hussain having said to her ‘Remember only 3 people in the world own it.’

Amrita Rao was the acclaimed painter’s muse. He has painted her live. That was done after he was mesmerized by her acting and talent post the release of Vivaah, where she was paired opposite Shahid Kapoor.

“I discovered that Hussain Sahab was very good at his “self-portraits” which is so rare. Before he started painting me, I told him I wish the theme of the painting to be “The Painter and his Muse”. Sure enough if you see the painting, there is a painting within the painting. Every girl dreams of being painted by a painter, I am so honored and blessed to be immortalized by none other than the legend M.F Hussain himself on his canvas,” said Amrita recalling the magical incident.

Today as the legendary painter turns 106, Amrita revisited the memory which was deeply associated with the artist. The actress shared that she had received a special gift from the legendary painter himself, and she can never forget that instant. She considers that piece as her most prized possession.

On the personal front, Amrita recently became and mother, and she keeps sharing super fun pictures and videos of her trying her hand at motherhood.
