Angelina Jolie is known for pampering her children. On December 18, the 46-year-old Eternals actress was seen treating her 18-year-old son Pax to sushi and shopping in Los Angeles, which also happened to be her ex-husband and Pax’s father, Brad Pitt’s, 58th birthday. Pax wasn’t there to commemorate the Fight Club actor’s birthday, but he seemed to enjoy most of his day with his mom.

Before walking into the elevated Fred Segal chain store in West Hollywood, the trendy duo had a bite at the famed Sugarfish sushi eatery. Angelina Jolie looked elegant in a combination of gray pants and a stylish black topcoat. Her characteristic brunette locks were brushed back in a messy bun, and she went virtually makeup-free to let her stunning look emerge. She completed the appearance with a designer handbag, black high heels, and bright red nail polish. Pax wore a white tee, stone blazer, and black slacks to keep it casual. A pair of new shoes and a baseball cap added to the sporting feel of the outfit.

The mother of six is clearly committed to providing the best for her children, as she was seen just a day earlier in Washington, D.C., with her child Zahara, meeting with lawmakers supporting the landmark Violence Against Women Act. The Oscar winner published photographs from the instructive mother-daughter vacation on Instagram.

Angelina Jolie is now embroiled in a legal struggle with Brad over full custody of their children. He wants to keep the existing joint custody system in effect.
