Animal: Ranbir Kapoor To Have A Busy 6 Month Schedule As He Gears Up For Shoot Of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Directorial

Ranbir Kapoor’s collaboration with Bhushan Kumar was announced on the first day of the year for the film Animal. The year began on a sparkly note for all Ranbir Kapoor’s fans across the nation. The film ‘Animal’ is going to be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who is the director of Shahid Kapoor starter Kabir Singh. After the announcement of the film and the collaboration, no update was shared by any of the team members. Finally, the latest news is here. The team of the film ‘Animal’ will have a long shoot schedule from April 2022 to October 2022.

According to reports, the team is planning to commence work on this ambitious project in the April/May window and shoot it extensively over six months. Apart from Ranbir, it also features Bobby Deol, Parineeti Chopra, and Anil Kapoor in key roles and their bulk combination dates are being worked upon.

Reports have also said that the film is a gangster-based family drama exploring the dark side of human emotions. Buzz is, Ranbir plays a psychopath in the film. however, confirmation on the same is awaited. The film would be a 2023 theatrical release.

Looking at his prior commitments and the developments of his projects, Ranbir is yet to wrap up his film with Luv Ranjan. The film will also have Shraddha Kapoor. A huge chunk of the film is already been shot and the remaining will be done shooting in February end before leaving for Animal. Ranbir also has Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra in his kitty with belle Alia Bhatt in the lead. this will be the first time Alia and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen on-screen together.

Ranbir also has Ramayana with Nitesh Tiwari, which is expected to go on floors by next year-end. While Ranbir plays lord Ram, Hrithik Roshan will be seen as Ravana in this epic. It’s among the biggest Hindi films and the makers are currently on the lookout for an actress to play Sita.

Talking about Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker will direct his next with Prabhas by the end of 2022. It’s said to be a special silver jubilee project of Prabhas.
