Anubhav Sinha-Ayushmann Khurrana To Reunite For A New Project

We can’t deny this quote that reads, “Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people”. And, similarly, in the showbiz, too, a handful of actors and directors have admitted that the reason behind the success of their project was the collective effort made by the entire team. And, if a team delivers an impeccable project, the audience looks forward to more of their collaboration. One such director-actor team, which has emerged as promising is Article 15’s duo, Anubhav Sinha and Ayushmann Khurrana. Their 2019’s collaborating Article 15 bagged praises from the critics and the audience alike. And, it seems like they are all set to give a treat to their fans once again.

As per the media reports, floating online, Ayushmann Khurrana has been roped in for Anubhav Sinha‘s next film, which will be a spy-drama. While the speculations were making rounds on the internet, trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his social media handle. If everything goes as per the plan, then the yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors in the third week of January. Talking about the Shubh Mangal Saavdhan actor’s character in the upcoming film, he will be seen playing the role of a spy set in North East India.

It is also said that similar to Article 15’s plot, the spy-drama will also highlight caste-based crime and discrimination. It is said that Ayushmann has recently returned to Mumbai and has begun the prep for this film. Though not much details of the project have been revealed yet, it is said that it will also have political undertones and is inspired by a true event. However, we are still waiting for either Anubhav or Ayushmann to make an official announcement about their collaboration.

Talking about their first collaboration, Article 15, the film garnered a positive response at the Box office too. Along with Ayushmann, it also featured Isha Talwar and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal characters. Interestingly, the film is inspired by multiple true-life events, including the 2014 Badaun gang-rape allegations and 2016 Una flogging incident.
