Black Widows is the latest thriller on ZEE5. It stars Mona Singh, Shamita Shetty, and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles along with Sharad Kelkar, Raima Sen and Parambrata Chattopadhyay. The show revolves around a trio of women who want to leave their abusive marriages. This simple decision, however, turns out to be a Pandora’s box, unleashing havoc and revealing many secrets of their lives. 1.A Murder Mystery – and more!

When the three women decide to retaliate against their toxic husbands, they choose a rather risky way to do so. Their deaths invite investigation and not in a good way. Not realizing all the outcomes of their dreadful decision, they find themselves entangled in a dark secret involving some powerful (not to mention, evil) people. The plot gets darker and mysterious from here on, unveiling a conspiracy that is sure to give you the chills.

2. Women-centric Show

It is still rare to find good shows and movies that are women-centric. This is one show that not only shows women taking charge of their lives with a bold step, but also shows a powerful woman leading a business empire and taking charge of things so big that they can shake the entire nation. All the women are shown as powerful characters – be it Kavita (Shamita Shetty), who despite being a childlike person, can wreak havoc if she decides to or be it Inaaya (Raima Sen), the head of an evil business corporation who doesn’t hesitate in taking ghastly decisions to save her empire.

3. Mona Singh and Raima Sen back in Lead!

A couple of our favourite actresses made a comeback on the screen as the leads! How can we not watch the show that they both are in, together? Mona Singh is back as the lead actress in this show and Raima Sen, as the lead antagonist. Seeing these brilliant actresses in the lead roles adds an extra dose of excitement to this already interesting show. 

4. It is a Dark Comedy – A Rare Genre

The rarest genre that we have seen being explored in the Hindi media industry – dark comedy. When was the last time you remember laughing at someone’s murder? 5. Parambrata is back as a Cop!

After the women murder their husbands and think of getting away with it, a genius cop comes to spoil their idea of getting away. And that genius cop is played by Parambrata Chattopadhyay. The first time we saw him in the Hindi industry was as a cop and we absolutely loved him. Well, he is back in a similar role. And that’s another interesting reason to watch the show.
