Bollywood Drug Probe: Film Producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s Wife Arrested After NCB Recovers 10 GM Marijuana From Their House

Another Bollywood celebrity adds to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)’s Bollywood drug peddling case. The lastest one to go under investigation is film producer Firoz Nadiadwala. On Sunday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided Firoz Nadiadwala’s resident and seized 10 gm ganja from the producer’s home. As per reports, the latter was not present in his house and so his wife Shabana Saeed was taken away by the NCB’s team for further questioning.

According to India Today’s report, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) started raiding the suburban areas of Mumbai. The list includes Andheri, Oshiwara, Malad and Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. After these surprise raids by NCB, five people were retained and a commercial amount of marijuana and MD was been recovered from these places. During the investigation of these five drug dealers, film producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s name was been revealed, which lead to the surprise raid at the latter’s house.

Apart from Firoz Nadiadwala, actor Arjun Rampal’s house in Mumbai was also raided by the central investigation agency. In October, Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisialos Demetriades was arrested by the NCB for Bollywood drug peddling case. Along with Agisialos Demetriades, former Dharma Productions employee Kshitij Prasad was also put behind bars for the same case earlier. According to India Today, Agisialos Demetriades and Kshitij Prasad were in contact with a Nigerian national. They were arrested for supplying cocaine in Mumbai. Omega Godwin, the Nigerian national, told the NCB officials about Prasad and Agisialos after which the two were arrested.

In the investigation of the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, NCB is investigating several Bollywood stars and personalities involved in a drug racket of sorts. Many celebs were called in for questioning by NCB, while some of them were directly arrested for the drug racket. The NCB earlier arrested Rhea Chakraborty, her brother, Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s staff members, Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant. Apart from them, NCB also summoned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning related to the same.
