Cocktail Trailer: The Dark Comedy Promises To Be Yogi Babu’s Best Till Date

Yogi Babu starrer Cocktail is all set to release on an over-the-top (OTT) platform. While the film is slated to premiere on July 10, 2020, on ZEE5,  the trailer of the film has been dropped on the streaming platform and we can’t wait to watch the film. With Yogi Babu playing the lead role, the film revolves around an incident about an ancient idol – an antique of Lord Murugan.

In the trailer we see, four close friends are attempting to get rid of an unknown corpse. However, they get themselves in a tricky situation, which involves the theft of an ancient idol of Lord Murugan. Yogi Babu’s romantic angle is also shown in the trailer. I am sure we are in for an entertaining ride ahead.

From the murder of an unknown woman to illegal dealings of idols, this dark gory comedy is sure to keep you on edge of your seats. Going by the one-minute-34-second long trailer, we can say that there are going to be a lot of twists and turns which makes Cocktail an interesting watch.

Touted to be a black comedy, Cocktail is directed by RA Vijaya Murugan. It is produced by PG Muthiah under the banner PG Media Works, the film also stars Sayaji Shinde, Mime Gopi and Swaminathan in essential roles. Cocktail, which is one of the biggest releases, was initially slated to hit the theatres in March 2020. But owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the makers opted for a digital release. Well, it’s a great idea, isn’t it? Stay tuned!
