Salma Hayek Pinault, a Mexican and American actress, and film producer, has unveiled that she has signed multiple movie deals with Marvel. According to aceshowbiz.com, the Oscar contender, who makes her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Ajak in ‘Eternals,’ has acknowledged that she may repeat the character in future blockbusters, but that there is no certainty.
‘I signed a lot of movie agreements…. That doesn’t guarantee they’re going to put me in it,’ Salma remarked on Smallzy’s ‘Celebrity Small Talk’. The 55-year-old actress is adjusting to the franchise’s top-secret manner of working, and she admits that keeping everything under wraps may be ‘very intense’.
‘Nothing I could have predicted, it was sort of amusing,’ she continued. ‘ It’s so crazy, yet I was like, ‘What?’ at first. But then it was sort of wonderful, being a member of this civilization that you have to defend so vehemently.’
Despite the fact that they (the audience) first “terrified” her as she struggled to wrap her head around the circumstance, the Mexican actress has learned to deal with Marvel’s ardent fans.
‘Yes!’ says Hayek while laughing ‘they scared the hell out of me at first’. ‘They did, because when we went to Comic Con, I’ve never seen a theatre with so many people inside, and they were so excited about being there, receiving all the new facts, getting whatever they could about the future of the Marvel Universe.’ Her main concern, she said, was not to let people down, especially considering how her role had been changed from the source material.

She explained: ‘They are so devoted and so passionate, that it makes you think, ‘Oh boy, I hope I don’t fail them!’ I admit I was a little worried, especially because I was a dude in the comics. I just wanted them to be happy.’
