Here’s a quick peek into Brijendra Kala’s role in Jab We Met and in his latest movie, Kaagaz. Here’s how he played two completely different characters and has come a long way in his journey.

Brijendra Kala plays the role of a witty judge in ZEE5’s latest Original film Kaagaz. While we all remember him as the taxi driver in Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor’s superhit drama, Jab We Met, we saw him playing a different role in Kaagaz, but yet again with a twist in his quirky persona. He plays the role of a judge who dismisses Bharat Lal’s (Pankaj Tripathi) case with his intelligence. While he was supposed to understand Bharat’s plight, he learnt that the latter was portraying a drama to get his name registered in the records. Read on to know what Brijendra did next and what was his role in Jab We Met.

Watch the trailer of Kaagaz here:
In Kaagaz, Brijendra learns about Bharat Lal’s tactics even before the latter is presented in the court. And hence, even though he could help Bharat Lal, he refrains from doing so like a boss. Whereas in Jab We Met, we remember him being helpless after Aditya (Shahid) takes over his old-fashioned car and drives it rashly. The two characters seem supremely different and now we know that he has come a long way since then. Not only this, but he also plays a pivotal in Pushpendra Nath Misra’s directorial, Ghoomketu. He essays the character of Editor Joshi, who plays a vital role in the life of an aspiring writer from a quaint town who runs away to the city of Mumbai to pursue his dreams. With these two outings, Brijendra has won many hearts. More so, all these films have garnered rave reviews from fans.
Speaking about Brijendra Kala’s career, he dipped his toes in the world of acting in 2003, with his appearance in the movie, Haasil. And since then there was no looking back for him. His notable works include films like Bunty Aur Babli, Karthik Calling Karthik, Agneepath, Paan Singh Tomar, Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Tubelight, amongst others.
The latest movie Kaagaz on ZEE5 follows the story of a common man whose life takes a drastic turn after he learns that his own brothers have declared him dead on official papers. After this, he decides to fight every hurdle to get himself registered as ‘alive’ on the same papers.
