From Omkar To Aditya, 5 Zee Marathi Show Characters Who Almost Got Hitched To The Wrong Person Before Meeting The Right One

Zee Marathi has presented us with some beautiful love stories through shows like Majha Hoshil Na, Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla and more. While we love these stories, let us not forget that many of them almost didn’t happen. Some of our favourite characters almost got hitched to the wrong person, before getting together with the right one. These bumps made their love stories an interesting watch and had us glued to our seats. On that note, let us take a look at five characters who almost got married to the wrong person!

1. Omkar from Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

When Omkar professed his love for Sweetu, she turned him down following which he agreed to marry Momo. He was all set to exchange rings with her when suddenly he had an epiphany. He realized he could not be without Sweetu and called off the engagement a minute before the ring exchange ceremony.

2. Mazhya Navryachi Bayko ladies

While Shanaya and Radhika may not have ‘almost’ married the wrong man, they found true love only after leaving Gurunath. Shanaya found Kunal, whereas Radhika found Soumitra. Maya, Gurunath’s third girlfriend, was going to spend the rest of her life with Gurunath too but she realized he’s the wrong man and left him before searching for her true love.

3. Sai from Majha Hoshil Na

Unlike other characters, Sai was forced to marry someone else out of obligation. She was going to marry Suyash, who had blackmailed to expose her father’s shady business if she didn’t marry him. Well, lucky for her, Aditya managed to turn the tables in the eleventh hour and married Sai instead!

4. Aditya From Majha Hoshil Na

Even though Aditya was in love with Sai, he did not wish to go against Dada mama who wanted him to marry Meghna. Even though he tried to convince Dada mama, he did not agree and feeling helpless, Aditya agreed to marry mama’s choice. It was only after Dada mama saw how unhappy Aditya is, he gave his blessings to marry Sai. Cut to now, Aditya and Sai are happily married.

5. Sweetu from Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

Much like Aditya, even Sweetu is bound by her mother’s promise to never fall in love. That is why, despite loving Omkar, she has agreed to marry Mohit. Spoilers have revealed that Sweetu will end up with Omkar so it will be quite interesting to see how Mohit goes out of the picture. For now, she is all set to get engaged to him despite having feelings for Omkar.
