From Shahid Kapoor To Sonakshi Sinha, B-townies Who Would Be Making Their OTT Debut

The Covid-19 pandemic shut down theatres for more than a year. This forced makers to postpone releases or choose OTT platforms to release their films. Many big films like Salman Khan’s Radhe, Abhishek Bachchan’s Big Bull are among several others that were released on OTT platforms. Now, Bollywood actors are also making their way into the web series section of OTT platforms!

Saif Ali Khan was one of the biggest names to join the web series bandwagon with his Sacred Games (2 seasons) on Netflix. This year, he came back with a political web series on Amazon Prime, titled Tandav. Now as films have started to release on OTT, many Bollywood actors are recognising the potential of web series and are set to make their debuts in the OTT world soon. Shahid Kapoor is in talks with the makers of The Family Man for a new web series. It is sure to be a big-budget project that could garner a lot of praise. Shahid’s next film will be the highly anticipated, Jersey.

Actor Ajay Devgn, whose film Bhuj will be releasing on OTT is reportedly going to make his debut on OTT with the project, Rudra The Edge Of Darkness. Ajay will also be seen in Maidan next.

Madhuri Dixit too is set to make her debut with a series titled Finding Anamika. Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar for her first OTT project, Fallen. The budget of this project is said to be very high and she will be seen spearheading it. Sonakshi will be soon seen in Bhuj along with Ajay Devgn. Even actress Juhi Chawla is said to come to OTT with a new project.
