Karwa Chauth is celebrated with great excitement all over the country. It is a way in which married women show their love and affection towards their beloved husbands. The rituals of the festival involve women fasting throughout the day and praying for their husband’s long life and healthy life. Here’s how some of the Bollywood divas like Sonali Bendre, Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu and others celebrated Karwa Chauth 2020.

Shilpa Shetty

For the occasion of Karwa Chauth 2020, Dhadkan fame Shilpa Shetty picked a red Masaba Gupta saree. The actor paired her ravishing saree with a heavy jewellery set. One of the captions of the pictures from her celebrations says, “RED-dy Shetty Go! Happy Karvachauth, ladies,”.  In some other posts, the actor shared glimpses of celebrating the festival with husband Raj Kundra and her “Karwa Chauth gang”. Her husband, Raj Kundra also posted a lovey-dovey photo from their celebrations.

The actor seemed to be celebrating her Karwa Chauth 2020 in Singapore.

She further revealed that it is for the first time that her husband Anil and her kids are not with her for the rituals.

Rather than be averse and antipathetic, I have always looked at how to evolve and adapt for a more harmonious way of life. Every year, I celebrate Karwa Chauth with my family and friends. This ritual brings a new colour to my relationships, especially with my mother-in-law.
