Hema Malini Supports Jaya Bachchan’s Statement In Monsoon Session Of Parliament

Recently actor-politician Ravi Kishan claimed that drug addiction exists in the film industry and several renowned celebrities are part of the drug cartel. Kishan was slammed for tarnishing the image of the film industry by veteran actress and politician Jaya Bachchan during the monsoon session of Parliament. Bachchan’s speech received immense support from many Bollywood actors. Actress-politician Hema Malini agreed with Jaya Bachchan’s points and said that Bollywood is a beautiful industry and it hurts when some people try to malign its image.

In the speech, Bachchan said that she is ashamed that a Lok Sabha member who is also from the film industry criticised it. People who made their mark in the industry are now calling it a gutter which is completely unfair. She further urged the government to tells such people not to use this kind of foul language.
