Shraddha Kapoor Birthday: From Teen Patti To Stree, Revisiting Her 11 Years In Bollywood

The highly talented and super-gorgeous actress, Shraddha Kapoor, celebrates her 34th birthday on March 3. The lovely actress also completed 11 years in the Hindi film industry on February 26, 2021. With a double celebration lined-up for her win in the span of seven days, let us recall her amazing journey in Bollywood, taking a look at some of her best works in these 11 years.

Shraddha Kapoor began her journey in Bollywood, with the film Teen Patti, starring R Madhavan and Amitabh Bachchan. She had a supporting role in the film, which was released on February 26, 2010. The role got her a Filmfare nomination for the Best Debut (Female). She then appeared in her first lead role in the film Luv Ka The End, in 2011. The film was slammed by critics but loved by teenagers for its relatable storyline.

After two years of Luv Ka The End, Shraddha Kapoor got the biggest break of her career with Aashiqui 2. Post the success of this movie, she became one of the most prominent actresses in the Hindi film industry. Shraddha also earned multiple nominations for her role as Aarohi and soon became a fan-favourite.

In 2014, Shraddha Kapoor gave a performance that remains one of her best ones to date – Arshia in Haider. Shraddha starred as Arshia, Haider’s (Shahid Kapoor) girlfriend and his only friend in times of crisis. Her performance in this tragic story was very convincing and worthy of all your attention. In the same year, she had also starred in the film Ek Villain with Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh. Her performance as Aisha, a cheerful woman, who is trying to reform a gangster, earned her a lot of fans. Besides her acting performance, she also got lots of love for singing her version of the iconic song, Teri Galiyaan, from the film.

In 2016, she appeared in the dance drama film, ABCD 2 and displayed her dancing talent as well. In the same year, Shraddha Kapoor also starred in the action film Baaghi, opposite Tiger Shroff. Shraddha later appeared in the musical film Rock On 2, where she displayed her talent in singing even further, while singing multiple tracks in the film. Some of these tracks are Udja Re, Tere Mere Dil, and Woh Jahaan.

In Haseena Parkar, Shraddha Kapoor gave her most challenging performance to date. She starred in the title role of the gangster who had become the queen of the underworld in Mumbai after her brother had left the country. Shraddha Kapoor also later starred in two groundbreaking films of Indian cinema, Saaho and Chhichhore, both of which were blockbusters at the box office, and for which, Shraddha Kapoor received tons of love. She also starred in the horror-comedy film Stree, which garnered a lot of love. She gave a great performance in the film as a multi-layered character, who was full of mysteries. Yet another dance movie, it gave Shraddha another opportunity to flaunt her dancing skills.
