Is Rhea Chakraborty The Victim Of Witch Hunt?

Since quite a few weeks now, the national conversation in India hasn’t been about the skyrocketing COVID-19 cases or the country’s crumbling economy. Instead, the focus has been on Rhea Chakraborty, the girlfriend of deceased Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput whose role in his death is being investigated by the CBI. However, as time has passed and new details are being revealed, it has increasingly come to light that she has been put through a media trial by the country’s news channels.

Some channels have accused Chakraborty of performing black magic, while some have put out fake news against her and worse yet, the actress has been hounded day and night by journalists who are stalking her outside her building in Mumbai. Now, it has come to light that the case of the missing Rs 15 crore that she is being investigated for by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seemingly has no ground. The money that she stands accused of misappropriating, might not have been paid to Sushant in the first place.
