Facing the challenges
Jamuna has always faced all her problems fearlessly and with courage. Whether it was when she had to stand up against Bhushan’s predatory attitude or when she stood up against her father-in-law Kedar Ray, she has shown us her strength time and again. Krishna, on the other hand, has always been the submissive one who has hidden behind her sister in order to protect herself. We hope she learns how to be braver and face the world head-on.

Standing up for what’s right
Jamuna is a strong advocate of truth and she always stands by it. She has never supported anyone who was on the wrong side of the coin, even if that meant she had to go against her own family members. Her commitment to truth in any situation makes her a very strong woman. Krishna, although not with her own free will, has supported lies told by her husband Laltu. When Jamuna was in the mental hospital and Sangeet had taken Laltu to the police station in order to make him confess the truth, Krishna told the police that Laltu was not involved in Jamuna’s kidnapping, although it was a white lie.
Voicing opinions fearlessly
Whenever Jamuna has seen any injustice or a lack of proper judgment, she has always voiced her opinion and has clearly stated what she thinks is right. Krishna, on the other hand, is an extremely meek person who normally suppresses her opinions and desires. We think it will be best for Krishna to learn how to voice her opinion so that people like Laltu and Bhushan are unable to suppress her.
Independence
Jamuna is a very free-spirited and independent lady who does not need anybody’s help in order to fulfill her dreams and her aspirations. She dreamt of becoming a dhaki and she has independently succeeded in making her dream a reality. It was her independent nature that helped her push through all the troubles and has made her successful. However, Krishna has always been dependent on her elder sister Jamuna in all aspects of life. Right from when she found herself in odd situations to when she needed financial support, she has always looked up to Jamuna as a saviour. It’s about time she learned to take charge of her own life!
