In the post, there’s a carousel of images shared the first one is the one where she’s seen dressed in a white saree with a thick red border and heavy golden jewelry, the classic way Bollywood would show a daughter-in-law. This is from the film Annadata which was released in 1972. The second image is from the early black and white days where she’s seen wearing a saree once again, with black-framed clear big glasses, and is seen reading something. This is from Kora Kagaz. The third image is the one where she’s seen wearing a blue printed saree and seems to be thinking about something. The fourth one will surely make your eyeballs pop as it’s Jaya Ji’s earliest times and she’s seen wearing a school uniform and her hair is double braided while she’s holding books in her hands. This is a still from the film Guddi which was released in 1971. This one will surely make all the older generation take a beautiful trip to their early days where education was a luxury.
Jaya Bachchan was seen with husband Amitabh Bachchan in films like Zanjeer, Sholay, Abhimaan, Mili, Chupke Chukpe, and Silsila, among many others. Jaya Bachchan appeared only in a handful of films after the birth of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan. In more recent years, Big B and Jaya appeared together in movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and the 2016 film Ki And Ka.
Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen in a film based on Bob Biswas, which is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The actor starred in The Big Bull, which opened to mixed reviews. In 2020, the actor had two releases – Anurag Basu’s Ludo and Amazon Prime’s web series Breathe: Into The Shadows, which marked his digital debut. He will reportedly star in Gulab Jamun, co-starring his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
