Jee Le Zaraa: THIS Is How Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, And Alia Bhatt Came On Board For The Farhan Akhtar Directorial; Zoya Akhtar Reveals

There hasn’t been a single female who hasn’t fantasized about an all-girls road trip, and it’s all down to those wonderful Bollywood flicks that inspire us. Farhan Akhtar created a lot of anticipation when he revealed Je Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra earlier this year. While the project will herald Farhan’s return to directing, this will be an all-female road trip.

While the news piqued fans’ interest in seeing Alia, Katrina, and Priyanka on one screen for the very first time, Zoya Akhtar has revealed how Alia, Katrina, and Priyanka came on deck for the movie. She told Project Companion that the actresses had called her and expressed interest in working on a movie together.

When the ladies approached Zoya, she stated that they were unaware that Farhan had pitched a similar proposal. Farhan had a bouncing idea and stated that he wants to execute it with females. He’d thought of it and intended to put it into action. He’d only said one thing to me. And, completely unrelated to Farhan, the starlets Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif approached Zoya, stating they want to work together because Priyanka had contacted them.

It was only a matter of time as things fell into place. And she believes that if this had transpired ten years ago, the same actors would have been involved, Zoya added.
Zoya has heaped admiration for all three females, describing them as having distinct personalities and being very different from one another.

Following the success of films such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Chahta Hai, the female audience has been clamoring for a girl’s trip film, and this one will undoubtedly be the start of a new adventure.
