Jothe Jotheyali 31 August 2021 Written Update: Anu’s words remind Sharada Devi of Anu’s words remind Sharada Devi of Rajanandini

In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Anu feels lucky about having Aryavardhan as her life partner. Ramya teases Anu for Aryavardhan’s actions during the pre-wedding rituals and wishes Anu luck for her future with Aryavardhan. Later, Aryavardhan follows the fragrances of a flower, which turns out to be the champak flowers, which, due to its connection to his past, Aryavardhan hates. He lashes out at Meera for being irresponsible and for bringing that flower to the wedding venue.

In the next episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Jhende calls Anu and tells her about Aryavardhan having seen the champak flowers in the wedding venue and having lashed out at Meera. Anu gets furious when she learns that someone bought the flowers, which Aryavardhan hates, to the wedding venue. A worried Jhende asks Anu to not inform Aryavardhan about Jalandhar having tried to contact her and the importance of Aryavardhan going to sleep that night. When Anu asks Jhende the reason for Aryavardhan hating the champak flowers, Jhende avoids answering her questions. He then asks Anu to promise that she will inform him and not Aryavardhan if ever Jalandhar tries to contact her. Anu goes in search of Aryavardhan and finds him standing alone and staring at nothing.

Aryavardhan talks to Anu about how spending time with a loved one is always delightful. He bursts out laughing when Anu talks about how that night is their last night as lovers as after marriage they won’t be messaging each other on a regular basis. Aryavardhan teases Anu when she talks about wanting to spend the last moments of being lovers with him. She then urges him to go to his room and sleep well. Anu then teases Aryavardhan when he unknowingly talks about their age difference. When Aryavardhan starts to get emotional, she orders him to never shed tears in his life. When under the pretext of leaving, Aryavardhan tries to kiss Anu, she pushes him towards his room.

In their respective room, Anu and Aryavardhan talk over a video call and wait for the other to sleep. Anu starts to get restless when she dreams about a woman in a red saree running through a forest to escape a few goons but who later falls into their clutches. Anu wakes up and worries about the meaning behind her having such a dream the night before her wedding. When she tries to go back to sleep she again has the same dream and again wakes up scared.

In a daze, Anu leaves her room and wonders the reason behind her sudden restlessness. Sharada Devi comes across Anu and questions her about being out of her room late at night. She is shocked when Anu tells her that she was feeling uneasy in her room. These words of Anu remind Sharada Devi of Rajanandini’s words the night before her marriage. Anu is elated when Sharada Devi addresses her as her daughter. Sharada Devi talks to Anu about how a mother, along with her daughter, feels restless the night before the daughter’s wedding. She talks to Anu about how a woman’s life changes after marriage. They talk about the similarity in their way of thinking and Sharada Devi promises to make Anu as comfortable as she can in her new home. When Anu starts to feel cold, Sharada Devi gives her her shawl. Seeing the shawl Anu feels as if she has seen it before.
