According to the filmmakers, Mission Majnu is based on true events that occurred in the 1970s and tells the tale of India’s most daring mission into Pakistan’s heartland, which forever altered the two countries’ relationship. She also gets to collaborate alongside Neena Gupta and Amitabh Bachchan in Goodbye.
