Kangana Ranaut Compares Herself With Meryl Streep And ‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot

After joining social media platforms last year in August, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has often managed to grab a spot in trends, either for her films or for her war of words on various on-going issues. And, this time again, Kangana Ranaut has grabbed the attention of netizens. Recently she shared a post to reveal two completely different looks from two of her upcoming project. Well, her looks were not the reason but her caption was. Interestingly, Kangana Ranaut compared herself with three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep and Wonder Woman fame Gal Gadot. Yes! you read it right.

In her recent tweet, she shared the look of two of her upcoming films, that are Thalaivi and Dhaakad. In the one still, she’s carrying the personality of late politician-actor Jayalalitha. Meanwhile, in the second still, she was seen sporting a feisty avatar with a gun. In the caption of the post, Kangana Ranaut had written, “Massive transformation alert, The kind of range I display as a performer no other actress on this globe has that right now, I have raw talent like Meryl Streep for layered character depictions but I can also do skilled action and glamour like Gal Gadot“.

A few hours later, in a subsequent tweet, the Queen actor added, “I am open for debate if anyone can show me more range and brilliance of craft than me by any other actress on this planet I promise to give up my arrogance until then I can surely afford the luxury of pride #Thalaivi #Dhaakad (sic)”. As soon as the tweets were posted on the micro-blogging site, her comparison with famed international actors soon drew mockery. Meanwhile, a section of fans praised the actor.

Reportedly, the actor is currently shooting for Dhakad. The upcoming film will be a spy-thriller, in which Ranaut will play the character of Agent Agni. Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal will portray the character of the antagonist. The film, directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai, is slated to hit the theatres on October 1, 2021.
