Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal Wedding: Bride Wears Sabyasachi Red Lehenga; Actress Gives Homage To Groom’s Punjabi Roots

The dreamy wedding of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif took place on December 9 and they made us go gaga at them. The photos of their wedding are going viral on the Internet and we cannot stop ourselves from gushing at the newlyweds. In the photos shared by the couple, we can see Katrina dolled up in a sassy embroidered lehenga. On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal can be seen groomed up in his stunning sherwani.

The piece of wedding costume of the new bride comes from the collection of the ace designer Sabyasachi. Speaking more of her outfit, it was a red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work on it. The official Instagram account of Sabyasachi shared information about the bride’s outfits. Along with that they also shared a series of photos in which Vicky and Katrina can be seen decked up in their wedding attires.

Sharing the photo on their Instagram account, Sabyasachi wrote the bride Katrina Kaif wore a classic Sabyasachi red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet. Adding more to the caption it was written that in homage to the groom’s (Vicky Kaushal) Punjabi roots, her veil is custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold. Further in the caption, it was written that the new bride’s lehenga was paired with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand-strung pearls from their own Heritage Jewellery collection.

The lavish wedding took place on December 9 in an exotic resort in Jaipur. It was a close and intimate affair that was attended by the family and friends of both the actors. At late hours after taking the wedding vows the newlyweds shared some unmissable photos on their respective social media accounts.
