Shubhra (Neha Marda) from Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti is at a new stage in her life. After the betrayal, she received from Kuldeep (Siddhaanth Vir Suryavanshi), the one person she trusted the most, Shubhra was completely broken. She still tried to pretend to be fine, just for the sake of her children. But now, with her and Rishi moving out of Mumbai, we think we’ll see a newer, better version of Shubhra. And we believe that she’s truly a modern-day combination of Sita and Savitri, read ahead to know why.
Meanwhile, here’s a glimpse of a newer, more determined Shubhra from Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti:
In the recent episodes of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, we saw an infuriated Kuldeep slapping Rishi for name-calling Samaira. This not only ruined Kuldeep and Rishi’s relationship but also created a bigger rift between him and Shubhra. When she saw her child in pain, Shubhra couldn’t take it any more and decided to leave the house with her children. Although Roli ended up staying back with Kuldeep, Rishi stood by his mother. Now that Shubhra is embarking on a new journey, her traits remind us of some of the most iconic women from our epic mythological tales.

Sita’s Motherhood
Sita took care of Lav-Kush all on her own. Although Sita was sent to exile by Ram, in Shubhra’s case, she left Kuldeep due to his actions. Although the striking similarity between these two characters is that how beautifully they depict motherhood.
Both Sita and Shubhra are strong, confident mothers who know that they can take care of their children on their own even without their husband’s help. Shubhra is seen handling all of Rishi’s moods with a smile while making sure he stays happy despite herself being sad at times.

Savitri’s Determination
On the other hand, Shubhra is also Savitri personified. Just like Savitri, Shubhra has never even thought about anyone else but her husband. She’s been a dedicated wife all her life. And even when she found out about her husband’s affair, she still chose to stay behind and fight for him, just like Savitri fought for her husband’s life.
While in Savitri’s case it was Yamraj who took Satyavan’s soul out of his body, in KRMKB, it’s Samaira (Sapna Thakur) who’s made Kuldeep lose his senses. Although Shubhra isn’t staying with Kuldeep anymore, we’re sure she will get her husband back from Samaira’s clutches, just like Savitri did.
