Megastar Chiranjeevi’s thoughtful gesture for a fan

Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi is unquestionably one of the most popular  and loved celebrities in the South Indian film industry and he never fails to win people over with his generosity. He recently offered to help a fan named Venkat ,who hails from Visakhapatnam, with his cancer treatment.

Venkat met the megastar Chiranjeevi at his office on Tuesday and told him about his health problems. Despite his busy schedule, Chiranjeevi took the time to speak with Venkat and learn more about his health. Venkat informed him that he is suffering from cancer and is unable to pay his medical bills.

Chiranjeevi was moved by Venkat’s story and promised to fund his medical treatment. The Acharya megastar also went on to personally examine Venkat’s medical papers and urged him to get a second opinion from a private hospital in Hyderabad. The actor himself referred Venkat to this private hospital and also told his team to keep him updated on the case and its developments.

Venkat was further aided by the Indra actor who gave him Rs 2 lakh to cover his emergency costs. In response to this gesture of the megastar an emotional Venkat went on to say “I am honoured to be referred to as one of his fans. In this lifetime, I cannot thank Chiranjeevi sir enough.”

The fans of the actor were also touched by this gesture and praised him through several social media posts, including a post by the Tollywood film producer Bandla Ganesh who took to Twitter to share this news and wrote, “Bigboss @KChiruTweets helped a fan who was recently taken ill. Venkat, from the Visakhapatnam district, has been battling cancer for a few years. Megastar assured Venkat’s family that he will pay for the treatment himself.”

The megastar will be soon seen in the much anticipated upcoming film ‘Acharya’ and will share the screen with his son Ram Charan for the first time. The film that I’ll also see Pooja Hegde in an important role is directed by Koratala Siva and is produced by Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company.

Another project that will star Chiranjeevi is the political-thriller Godfather directed by Mohan Raja. The film that is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films is an official Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit film Lucifer.
